In the settings, we can create a new work schedule in which we define a sequence of shifts that will automatically rotate based on the day of the week.
To do this, navigate to Settings/Work plans and click +Add.
Creating a Cyclical Work Schedule
Enter the name of the work plan and select the “Rotating” mode.
In the next step, input the shifts that will be in effect.
Key Features:
Defining Shift Sequences: Set the exact order of shifts that employees should follow.
Automatic Cycle Repetition: Once the schedule reaches the end, the cycle restarts automatically, simplifying long-term planning.
Example of a Work plan:
In this example, the user starts with two days working at 8:00 AM, followed by three days working at 8:30 AM, then has two days off.
Next, they work for five days at 12:00 PM, finishing with two more days off.
After completing this cycle, the schedule restarts, beginning again with two days at 8:00 AM.
Assigning the Work Schedule to Users:
When creating a “New rotating Work plan”, you need to specify the first effective date of the schedule and the schedule that will start the cycle.
For example, if the user needs to start with a day off on February 1, 2025, this must be selected as the starting shift.
