All Hours includes a useful feature that allows you to assign different colors to each presence or absence category—making it easier to visually distinguish between types of attendance and work.

🔄 Default View

By default, All Hours uses a basic color scheme where:

  • Paid presence is shown in blue

  • Paid absence is shown in green

  • Unpaid presence is shown in yellow

  • Missing is shown in purple

Enable Custom Category Colors

To enhance clarity, you can enable an advanced color-coding option where each presence type (e.g., remote work, business trip, training, etc.) has its own dedicated color.

For example:

  • Remote work could be orange

  • On-site work could remain blue

  • Training could be yellow

  • Sick leave could be red

This makes it much easier to quickly understand the work patterns and categories at a glance across the calendar or timesheet.

✅ How to Enable

To activate this feature:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Open Advanced

  3. Under Timelines display mode select "Detailed view with categories"

Once enabled, the daily timeline will reflect the assigned category colors instead of the default blue/yellow/green/purple setup.

You can customize the colors of individual categories in Settings, under the Category definitions section.

💡 Tip: This feature is especially useful for managers who need a quick visual overview of their team’s attendance types.
